Best resources to learn how to modify aircraft

Recommended Posts

After being helped numerous times by Bert Pieke (thanks again for your time and patience Bert) and enjoying the excellent aircraft mods by many AVSIM members I would like to learn how to do this for myself. I'm sure many others would be interested also.

Things I would like to do include:

1. Everything necessary to modify panels for the Flight1 GTN 750/650 and the Milvix/Rex Weather Radar

2. Use gauges from other aircraft

3. Modify aircraft performance

4. Change panel layouts

5. Everything related to modifying aircraft :-)

I'm interested in:

1. Best tools to use

2. Best sites/forums to follow

3. Best guides, articles, books etc

Thanks in advance for all who contribute to this thread.

Once I master this would like to give back to the community as many others have done.

Kind regards

Paul Watts
