I'm using SOP2/Button. Providing the option "FO Controls IRS = Yes", what time does the FO turns it to NAV?

 

The question is because I like to input the FMC with departure data before the FO comes back from the walkaround, so I have to do it because he leaves it off when going out to inspect.

 

I remember, sometime ago, that the FO actually turned IRS to NAV, but it happened only once or twice.

Please look at Page 12 in the SOP 2 Manual.

 

You have also have the FO perform Prelim Prefilght procedure set to Yes for the FO does it.

 

This happens very shortly after you start running the preflight events.
