747 camera shake / Chaseplane - whats PMDG's official advise?

Featured Replies

As the Queen (she's gorgeous btw) is now coming with its on cam shake/rumbling effects, which are looking impressive indeed, what is the official recommendation for using it with camera tools like chaseplane? Can we just disable all turbulence effects in chaseplane and will still be able to switch chaseplane cams while enjoying the 747 camera effects or do you advise to disable chaseplane entirely when flying the 747?

And am I assuming correctly that those PMDG effects only apply to VC view?

Thanks

Lars

Yes, there is some shaking, but it is isolated to the VC view.  Any camera you use is not directly affected, and the effect will be present regardless of what camera addon you use.

Thanks Vin

So that means i can set wing views in chasecam with its own turbulence settings and use chasecam in VC with turbulence disabled and get the PMDG effects?

Chaseplane works just fine with them

If you disable ChasePlane's Ground Turbulence you will be left with the PMDG ones.

It's as simple as that!
