>>> I would not compare it with the PMDG plane since this is>freeware >>Excuse me, but that sounds pretty arrogant. "since this is>freeware", are you saying freeware developers are unable to>make anything comparable to payware developers ?>>MikeI dont think thats what he is saying at all. Payware developers have much more resources available to them for development. This plane is really great but doesnt do nearly as much as my PMDG. That doesnt detract from it at all its just different.

Randy,>> Payware developers have much more resources available to them for developmentthat might be true for PMDG, but certainly not for all payware developers, thus not justifying a statement like "since this is freeware".There are numerous examples where freeware products exceed the corresponding payware offering by far. David Maltbys Trident, HNACs A300, Stellan Hilmerbys DC-9, just to mention a few I know about.Besides that, it is pretty obvious how much work went into this package. And some come up immediately comparing and ensuring everyone a 70$ payware is better than that. I would have thought just a simple "thanks" to the developers for that gift would have been more appropriate.Sometimes I loose understanding of the FS scene these days.Mike

besides David Maltbys great airplanes, can you name a freeware airplane with a complete panel and systems, plus a virtual cockpit?

>>>Anyone found out who these guys are ? >>>Have they done any projects before ?>>>>I could be wrong ofcourse,...but,....it could be that some>of>>the guys comes from a well known japanese >>payware company who made the best L-1011 so far....:-hmmm>>>The team members all come from China.Hi,I know that. It is just that I recognize some names. And a chinese could be living in Japan,..or..? ;-)But as I said,..I could be wrong. :-hahhttp://www.scandicair.com/images/greeting2.gifhttp://www.scandicair.com/images/sa_banner.gif"Real men fly with round gauges"

All chinese!!! ha! I am proud! This is gotta be the first freeware plane with a functional FMC. If there weren't PMDG, this would have been THE 744 for FS9.Jason Zhang

That's what I said and it's the truth no disrepect intended.are you saying freeware developers are unable tomake anything comparable to payware developers ? I was only talking about these planes Mike. I think you are taking this a little to personal. Have a nice Holiday Season.
Randy J. since I dont' have time to learn Russian, and since you can only name 1 other addon, I'd say the point is still valid

It's actually very, very good, Discovered it does have A very nice EICAS system too!(The Gear page doesn't appear to be functional but everything else is good).Along with a complete overhead with various systems...

>since I dont' have time to learn Russian, and since you can>only name 1 other addon, I'd say the point is still validI named 3 add-ons. But OK, let's go on. Bill Lyon's freeware offerings, Milton Shupe's freeware offerings and I'm sure there are still some others. If you're thinking that every payware offering is superior to freeware, than I can only say you're missing some great planes out there. And it's a shame you don't want to learn a bit of cyrillic, the PT Tu-154 is by far the best plane for FS9, freeware, payware, whatever.

Fanda's Dash 8 is very good too ;).

>besides David Maltbys great airplanes, can you name a>freeware airplane with a complete panel and systems, plus a>virtual cockpit?Well Alex, you have one right on Mikes banner. :-hahAnd how about the Howard-500, Commanders, etc,etc.....http://www.scandicair.com/images/greeting2.gifhttp://www.scandicair.com/images/sa_banner.gif"Real men fly with round gauges"

>Fanda's Dash 8 is very good too ;).Agree, I didn't mention it, because it lacks a VC and he wanted a combination of VC and systems. There are tons of other nice packages, which lack a VC. Hilmerby's DC-9, IL-18, YAK-40, SCS Tu-134, PT IL-62M, etc.
