Suddenly Unable to Click Inside the Cockpit

Featured Replies

Towards the end of the flight, on approach, selected the first flap setting and suddenly I could not click on any other buttons/control in the VC cockpit.  Yoke and throttle continued working.  Brought up 2d panel for MCP and clicking there worked.  After that was able to click inside cockpit but then couple minutes later same issue.  This time 2d panel didn't fix it.  Downer after a long flight.  Ezdok stopped accepting shortcut buttons as well.

Any ideas?

Ilya,

When we see this, it often means the user has accidentally moved the view position into a piece of 3D geometry in the simulator.

Most often it is the result of sliding inside the headrest or some such.

EZDok....  lots and lots of problems being reported with this utility across a wide range of products right now.  If this continues to happen, it might worth removing that application and trying again.  that will at least give more data points.

Interesting, haven't had this happen before.  Maybe I'll look into Chaseplane in the near future.

Thanks for the quick response.  Amazing bird!

Had the same behaviour. Was (fairly easily) fixed by changing the EzDoc view/zoom setting for that view to ensure your eye position is not inside the airframe or the pilot's seat etc.

Did your mouse cursor change to a crosshair? I had this happening once when I accidentally hit the hotkey for Mouse Yoke
