December 21, 200520 yr Was wondering too! My SF260 flies smooth like that, but I can't do it at such detailed airports.BTW- I just passed this link along to the X-Plane "general flightsim" forum at X-Plane org. Thought they might enjoy the smooth whiskey compass! :D
December 21, 200520 yr Amazing videoCould you possibly share with us what are the specifications of the computer you ran fs9 on ?Thanks.

But above all, I think they'll enjoy the photorealistic scenery and panels (after all they're used to smooth gauges, but not used to the latter) ;)I'm leaving for holidays vacations, so have nice Christmas flights Mr. Adamson, and merry Christmas to all the people reading this forum. See ya!Marco "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
December 21, 200520 yr I was wondering if anyone knew a way to record all sounds while flying online since you're totally on headphones. Jeff D. December 21, 200520 yr The Providence scenery is a masterpeice of performance. It looks amazingly detailed, but runs like default. (It's that good) Vauchez is a brilliant 3d modeller. He's been doing it professionally for years, and knows how to get the best out of the models.
December 21, 200520 yr That's good stuff! LOL!http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...s/Mullins01.jpg"A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting."Don MullinsNiceville, FL.
December 21, 200520 yr very cool video!Where is part 2?And just a question regarding that, do they really park the airplanes on that small runway?
December 21, 200520 yr Great vids :DOne question: Does NASA want their supercomputer back? :-lol. Your framerates were unreal :-eek Quote from MS Flight Team Lead: "We’ve made some guesses"
December 21, 200520 yr It's not a runway anymore, but overflow parking. They park there every night. There's 22 or so gates, and over 30 aircraft overnight, so they need to go somewhere!
December 22, 200520 yr Hi thanks for the comments, I'm glad you enjoyed it.Computer is AMD 4200+ and an XFX Geforce 7800gtx (Don't believe the nvidea haters that say this card is no good for FS, as you can see it works fine!)I'm maxed out on most of the scenery sliders apart from clouds where I run on mid distance and visibility settings. I usually crank my AA all the way up on my card (x8)and also have the AF as high as it will go too(x16)I use the 77.77 drivers from a few months back. They work fine for FS and I have no desire to upgrade them at the moment as I've heard some of the newer drivers can have problems.Kudos to Vauchez for his Rhode Island scenery, the framerates are fantatstic as is the detail. The only other airport scenery guys I know of that come close, are Flytampa which have good detail and framerates too. The Realair 260 also gets a mention as it is very framerate friendly and considering it's level of detail, it's really quite incredible. I think the time is passing for developers who make payware aircraft and scenery that may look ok but is non-optimized for framerates. As for the freeware guys such as AA ardvark who's fantastic and framerate friendly aircraft you see dotted around KPVD in the vid - they can make anything the want and it's glady received, many thanks, it's much appreciated! Now which airport can I do for part4? hmm..............
December 22, 200520 yr hehe...One of the tricks of "videography" is you can set replay to be 2x...and it makes it looks MUCH smoother and more realistic.Heres a handful of ones I did awhile back that show this. In particular the T-34 air show practice ones. Quality of the recording isnt quite as good as these ones Madmike did.http://www.planeprofiles.com/video.htmEric AND
