New Frankfurt Airport w/ the BAC 1-11

Ah, gotcha ;)

That panning is so smooth. Am I right in saying that TIR pans much better and smoother than the old "middle mouse" active camera pan? My specs are below, just curious to know if TIR helps out the framerates.

Hey Max, TrackIR doesn't hurt frame rates whatsoever. It replaces the Active Camera middle-mouse thing... it transforms the movements into smooth movements because you're using your head, which ( in time ) becomes 100% natural. With your specs, it'll run just perfectly.

is there an activate/deactivate button I can assign to a key or joystick button? I would want to turn it off sometimes during flight and move my head around without the game mimicking those actions

You ought to be on commission! Your video was so good, I went and bought the Frankfurt Airport Scenery!

Glad to hear it :) It's an amazing piece of scenery.

Really great film. What software are you using? Looks brilliant. I need to look into TIR...I have seen it before but always figured it to be a bit of a gimmick. Your videos are making a believer out of me because it really shows how smooth that panning is.Eric
