We picked a slate of older liveries to do for this product simply because we liked how they looked, not because of any political reasons - there is certainly no intent to offer support for apartheid South Africa in doing that livery, c'mon...

As I said the old livery just has more character to it - I am with you on this one Ryan, don't worry!  Looking at it any other way would be like saying that when you over eat and get fat it is the spoon's fault and therefore it is a "fat spoon" or something to that effect.   The livery is not at fault for what happened politically.

 

I think folks were just looking for the new one as well maybe.   Me, I will be flying the old one very often :-).

Of course. That's not the intention of the thread..Fully understood..was just looking for a more "recent" livery....thanks for the great product!

Although the Boeing 747-400 has been withdrawn from SAA service (the last one went to TAAG-Angola) I would like to see the new colors.  Old SAL is nice too.  Please not ZS-SAS (Helderberg)  :wink:

Thanks a million.  I don't however think the B747-400 ever was painted in the old colors.  That was mostly B747-200's.  For instance the Helderberg 1980's.
