February 6, 20179 yr Hello!! I am currently flying FSX:SE and considering to shift to P3D after my new PC arrives. I have a question, when installing P3D, should I install it in a drive with Windows 10 or can I install it on another drive without windows? My New PC would be: i7 7700K, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM, 240GB SSD(with Windows), 480GB SSD(without windows) Thanks!! Iching Lee from Taiwan
February 6, 20179 yr It is generally recommended (in the avsim community) that P3D should be installed on a separate drive - preferable a SSD. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
