Emergency Lights switch not working

Thanks for your valuable comments and suggestions, but let me share the solution I've found is to re-install all SimConnects one more time (three times in total) and rebooting the system after the last re-installation. Now the switch is working as expected (if that was the root cause I don't know, but it was the last action I performed before it started to work Ok). Camera position was not an issue in this case, because the one I've created was just in front of the middle overhead as a close-up of such panel section and had no physical obstacles around at that position.

The only strange thing that is still happening here to me (on my laptop) is that the mouse cursor is not changing to a hand shape when using buttons and knobs, and instead the mouse is keeping its normal arrow shape. This happens to me with or without the use of ChasePlane, but to make things more interesting, on my main computer (another machine) my mouse shape behaves as expected by PMDG and on that machine I have no traces of ChasePlane installed. And after the repeated installs of all SimConnects on my laptop I don't think this would be a SimConnect related issue. This is not a big issue for me anyway, but as I opened a ticket with PMDG, I'll wait to see if they have finally something to say  :hi:, or even the ChasePlane guys.

Meanwhile I'm continuing to enjoy the excellent B747v3, from day one!.

Cheers, Ed

What if you manually move the switch to the armed position?

Still  doesnt mean the  zoom  factor  wasnt in play  since  i had  created  views  and  found  during flight it  had  changed in flight  some  how,  and  the arrow  doesnt  change from a  arrow  to a hand  unless  i   re  zoom  in abit  than save  it  again
