The arrogance of some vendors is amazing - guess who's it

Featured Replies

Might be true for the future, but unfortunately this particular product is helpful and I would like to use it in the future. Now, you could argue that a simple solution would be to pay another 20 bucks, use another email address and identity and buy it again, thus avoiding any repercussions. But I would really feel scammed then, paying twice for it.

Understand, I'm not defending the vendor or excusing their behavior. I'm just saying that trying to fight it out on their own public forum is almost certainly not going to get you anywhere.

Topic locked.  I'm not going to allow the bashing of developers here.  It is so easy to bash a developer when things don't go your way.  Sometimes taking a deep breath and moving on is the best choice.

I am slightly amending my comments above to clarify.  The topic is still locked.

Calling someone arrogant, stupid, ignorant, an idiot, etc., is inciting/trolling.   So we need to stop calling developers, members, or our moderators names.  I think it would have been better if the OP would have posted something like - "I have been waiting for [n] days to get my license reactivated for such and such product but so far no luck.  I thought the reactivation would be immediate.  Has anyone else had this reactivation issue?  How long does it normally take to get it reactivated?  Anyone else experienced delays in getting their product reactivated?  If not, how did you get it reactivated so soon?  Maybe I'm messing up somewhere and there is a faster way to get my product activated.  I posted on their forums but the moderator stated this was not the place to discuss activation issues so wondering if there's somewhere I can go and get a status on my reactivation.  Thanks to anyone in advance for any information.  I'm anxious to use this program!!"

Then others who are having issues could also respond.

I interpret calling a developer 'arrogant' as inciting/trolling.  You can complain about a developer without calling them names.  Thanks for everyone's cooperation.
