February 11, 20179 yr Hi Folks: I believe in the latest P3D hotfixes the MAX_VC_TEXTURE_RESOLUTION setting entry has been added by LM on the [MAIN] section of the P3D.cfg file. Does anyone know what's the effect of this setting and what is the direct result of using it, performance & VAS of FPS wise?. What do you know it will happen if it is changed to a higher value, 4096 for instance?. February 11, 20179 yr I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I never had VAS issues before this "fix". Bill W

Does anyone knows if by changing the values to higher ones (2048 or 4096) there's an impact on VAS or FPS we should be aware of?. I'll proceed now to test it myself, but remain open to hear about any experiences from any other pilot. February 11, 20179 yr H Ed, on my side, I can say that with setting VC cockpit textures at 4096 and global textures at 2048, I've not seen any vas or fps change with addons that usually use, the cockpit now is more clear and crispy. best
