App button not working

Good day simmers I recently did a clean install of Prepared and I reinstalled the 777-300. I was on approach to Dublin last night I had everything set right in the FMC but my app and loc buttons would not activate. FMC is all updated so I don't know what the heck is going on

Hi,

Did you check that there is a valid ILS frequency and bearing in the RAD NAV page of the CDU?

If yes did you check that you were receiving the signal? It may happen that if the ILS in FSX/P3D is different than the one in your FMC or if the ILS doesn't exist in the sim, then you can't receive the ILS frequency, hence to no APP or LOC activation.

Edit: corrected typo for sake of clarity.

Looked this up because I have never had this happen before, just got finished with a hop to Dublin and my Approach Hold button didn't work! First time this has ever happen, but it's odd how this happened to both of us at Dublin, perhaps something with the airport?
