February 18, 20179 yr Author Commercial Member Hi @ll, many thanks for your kind words. Here is a short video about the new features in WAMA 1.01 Best regards LORBY-SI
February 19, 20179 yr Great idea to be able to assign the avatar vehicle as the default. That will be the feature I need.
February 19, 20179 yr Author Commercial Member Great idea to be able to assign the avatar vehicle as the default. That will be the feature I need. Generally speaking, you can do that already. The 1.01 just makes it more convenient. With 1.00, for leaving an aircraft, save your position, then just select your "default" vehicle as your own from the simulator menu. It will be loaded in exactly the same spot, so your previous aircraft will materialize once you pull away from the parking spot. Best regards LORBY-SI
March 1, 20179 yr Commercial Member I can't seem to load two of the same aircraft with the same livery. Paul Grubich 2017 - Professional texture artist painting virtual aircraft I love. Be sure to check out my aged cockpits for the A2A B-377, B-17 and Connie at Flightsim.com and Avsim library
March 1, 20179 yr Author Commercial Member Hi, The option for duplicates is not active by default. Here is how to use it: - [download and install the update version from SimMarket - it took them a while to deploy it - it reads (1.01 b17) at the top of the WAMA main screen] - Start your sim in an aircraft of your choice - Start WAMA and connect it to the sim - Go to the WAMA Settings dialog and activate BOTH "Allow duplicate entries in database" and "Show duplicates of my own aircraft" - Close the Settings, go back to the main screen - I my video, I went to an external view of the C188 and then saved my position with "Save position now" in WAMA - Then I clicked back into the sim window and used the WAMA control keys (Shift & Ctrl & Numpad) or only (Ctrl & Numpad) to move the aircraft to the left until the one that I just saved appears - Then I pressed "Save position now" again, and repeated moving the aircraft with the WAMA keys - etc. - Aircraft have to be a reasonable distance apart (wingspan), otherwise they will overwrite each other. Hope this helps - to make doubly sure, I just re-checked one more time - it works as described. Note: there is a curious behavior of the sim when switching liveries. Sometimes - especially in the default aircraft that you are currently flying yourself - the sim does not want to display the new livery that you have switched to - you have to restart the sim to see it. For some aircraft the sim pulls the 3D model out of a cache of some sort instead of reading them from the disk. LORBY-SI
