The LUA program patches the FSX/P3D internal tables that are used to compute friction in Sim1.dll--the lua can be selectively blocked by adding an empty [Auto.PMDG 747] section to fsuipc.ini

Just to clarify, I don't believe there is a space between the PMDG and the 747. It should be [Auto.PMDG747]

No, I don't think that's right.  What follows the "Auto." is a pattern used in a simple substring match with what's listed in the Title= line in the aircraft.cfg, and on mine all the PMDG 744s have the form "Title=PMDG 747-4xxxxxxxxxx", including the blank.  If FSUIPC will also match a blank-stripped variant of that, it would be (surprising) news to me.

Also, FWIW, you need either "ShortAircraftNameOk=Substring" or "ShortAircraftNameOk=Yes" in the [General] section of fsuipc.ini for this to work correctly.

Ok, I was basing my comment off the fact that when clicking the profile specific check mark in fsuipc UI, it names it as I mentioned above. Can you post what you have in your fsuipc.ini that is currently working for you? I'll just copy paste that to mine. Also under the FWIW comment you have above, I need just one or the other in the general section for this work? I have all 3 PMDG planes and want these friction Lua to work with the ngx/777.
