Featured Replies

Hi i was wondering is EFB compatible with steam edition because i installed the trial and could not setup up EFB with steam edition... i couldnt find the right areas to make it work...

Has anyone managed to get it working with SE? If so how... Please help me haha

I use it every time I fly without issues. It'd be helpful to know what error message you're getting as the initial setup is a bit tricky and there are a couple of gotchas. You followed the installation and setup manual, correct?

Most of the flight simulation community is pretty toxic and gets easily worked up about little things. Just go into it knowing that.

It has been a long time since I installed it in Steam but I believe the problem was finding the EXE.xml oe DLL,xml. (a problem I've had with other software). If memory serves, it was looking for a Users/Name /app data/..../Microsoft /FSX.

I created a new Folder FSX , copied the 2 .xmls in to it, and once installed I just copied them back into the FSX:SE folder (overwriting the old one).

Hope this helps. I have been using EFB in FSX:SE and P3D with never a hitch

Yup, it works just fine with FSX-SE, although it requires you to point it at some folders which it can't find automatically upon installation, however that isn't hard to do.
