March 7, 20179 yr My version is button, I also have 737 and 777, and I use (happily) Spad.Next. The problem I will describe happens only in the Q400. Oh, and I don't use LINDA, which I can't say exactly what it is or how and where is applied. I've tested the Q400 without FS2Crew and the issue didn't happen. The problem is: as soon as I start FS2Crew on the Q400, I start to hear a voice saying "hello!" at random times. And after takeoff, the FO keep saying "a thousand to go, ALT SEL", during all the climb to cruise altitude. Reading the forum I found some people with this problem but the discussion always goes to LINDA and I get lost. March 7, 20179 yr Commercial Member Hi Heron, Spad.next could be the issue, as I believe it and LINDA are the same. Try this: Go into the CFG menu via the FS2Crew Main Panel. Select: LINDA to YES. That will fix your 1000 ALT sel issue. Not sure about the Hello issue. It sounds like you're triggering the FA call button. Try it with Linda set to yes. Best, B. March 7, 20179 yr Author Brian, Thanks, but I didn't find any LINDA option. I looked in the CFG button at Q400 FS2Crew Main Panel. Where exactly is this menu? March 8, 20179 yr Commercial Member If you press the CFG button multiple times you can cycle through the menu selections, which will appear on the Main Panel. Which version of the FS2Crew Dash 8 are yo using? Latest version? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

March 16, 20179 yr Author Just one more detail: when NOT using Spad.Next, we must set LINDA = NO in order to hear the FO saying "1000 to go Alt Sel" at the correct altitude, climbing or descending. Best, Heron Domingues, Jr Intel Core I7 10700KF, 3.80GHz (5.10GHz Turbo), Gigabyte B460, RAM 32GB, Corsair 750W, GPU Palit RTX 3060, Windows 10 Pro 64., P3Dv5.4.
March 16, 20179 yr Commercial Member That is correct. That LINDA = YES option is just for people who had some conflicts due to hardware that uses Linda. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
