TrackerIR4 Pro or not? That's the question..

Featured Replies

if you set the zoom for the virtual cockpit at the beginning of the flight using the +/- keys does FS REMEMBER this zoom setting for ALL other flights? or do you need to readjust the zoom each flight? because I would want to FIRST set the zoom with the +/- keys THEN use the TrackIR center button to center my head, then go flying..

>Hi All,>>I took the plunche and bought the TrackerIR.>Have flown for an hour now and it is really cool!>Especially I like the zoom in/out when you move>forwards/backwards>Since I also have a few racing sims and FPShooters I wonder>how they will be with the Tracker.>>It will take a while before I have fine tuned everything, but>so far so good.>>Thanks for the advicesI tried mine with my favorite racing sims and didn't like it for that.. thought it would be as great as FS but made more problems for me.I cut the movement WAY down and even limited the number of axis to just left & right but, for me, just too much extra imput to feel the car. Found myself correcting for cars movements on the track and they would be just movements of vision etc.A LITTLE left and right might be okay after you used it for some time, but just like changing controllers, your times go down the dumper for a while :-) Love it for flying, don't even try any longer for racing.EDIT: I have the TrackIR 3 Pro with vector Ex add-on BTW
