January 6, 200620 yr All:I noticed a reference in a thread below (best 737)to a "Peter McLeland merge" which seemed to say that this person has published a merge file which enables the DF GA 737 originally developed for FS 2000, then patched for FS 2002, to run under FS9. Is that correct? If so, could someone please point me to the file? The DF 737 is still my best and favorite panel. In fact, I keep FS 2002 going primarily to run this 737-400.ThanksJay

January 6, 200620 yr Unfortunately the ADI/EHSI Are incompatible so you will be navigating slightly 'blind' (LNav on but nothing on the eHSI!), Is there a way around this?
January 6, 200620 yr I've never use the merge and have no idea how it functions, but there is a work-around for this included.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. January 6, 200620 yr Author The merge by Peter McLeland where to get and how to install the necessary gauges to accomodate this. You also have the option of using RealityXP's Jetline2 which is what I chose to use for the ADI/EHSI. The merge works beautifully and I highly recommend it if you still have that wonderful DF737 lying around collecting dust or are a holdback still running FS2002 just so you can fly it. January 10, 200620 yr The readme says about deleting the FSUIPC.dll file and I am unhappy about that?Is there any drawbacks?Dave T. .........On the Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/ Dave Taylor
January 10, 200620 yr Author You rename FSUIPC during the installation process so that it is not overwritten by an older version included with the DF737 install. The older FSUIPC is what is deleted, then rename your current FSUIPC back. There is a line you have to add to the cfg file for FSUIPC to make the FMC work but that is outlined in Peter McLeland's instructions.Hope this clears that up,Zane Dr Zane Gard Sr Staff Reviewer AVSIM Private Pilot ASEL since 1986 IFR 2010 AOPA 00915027 American Mensa 100314888

January 11, 200620 yr Hello Jay:Happy to hear others still have affection for this old bird. It is still one of my favorites.Follow Peter's instrutions to the letter. He has been helpful to we who developed a short between the ears in the process at times. It may seem a bit involved, but if you can hang in there everything will work.If I remember correctly (Has been a while for this old memory), I opted to use Tony Ambrisio's gauges. If you have his good and old contribution, you might give that some consideration. There are a number of Liveries available on this site which are adaptable to the panel as well.Good Luck:RTH
