May 17, 20179 yr Like it was said. ASN simply chooses the RWY depending on the wind. What do (like also said before): Go to Flightradar and take a look which runways are in use. Simple. Also in Real Life the runway may change because the weather changes or whatever. I find it very interesting to change the arrival during the arrival ;-) Adds a bit of workload and realism.

May 17, 20179 yr A lot of european airports have a preferrential runway system. Sometimes is not weather related if winds are less than 10 or 15kts. For example: LEBL, you should use: - 25R for landings and 25L for takeoffs at day if winds are less than 10kts. - 07L for landings and 07R for takeoffs at day if winds are more than 10kts and east winds. - 02 for landings and 07R for takeoffs at night if winds are less than 10kts. - 25L for landings and takeoffs at night if winds are more than 10kts and and west winds. In the aircraft section under 'Cruise'. Sometimes it will default to LRC (long range cruise) but if the profile supports it, you should be able to enter a Cost Index (CI). So just change LRC to 80 for example and it will then autocomplete and should read CI80. Johnny Crockett 7700K @5ghz | Asus GTX 1070 | G.Skill 16GB 3600 | P3D V4
