FSW joystick calibration? Axis selections not sticking.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Has anyone figured out how to calibrate joysticks in FSW?  Also I noticed that even after assigning an axis to a specific joystick, when I exit and come back to the program later, the axis selections are not as previously assigned.

Thanks,

George

The calibration and ability to use multiple devices at the same time is better than XP 11. Recognized: T.Flight Hotas 4, Saitek Yoke and quadrant, CH pedals. Was able to use different devices dependent on whether the plane had a stick or yoke. Maybe check if they are calibrated from windows and your firmware is up to date.

My assignments haven't changed since I set them.  Perhaps for some reason the program isn't able to write to "C:\Users\(Your User Name)\AppData\Roaming\Dovetail Games\FSW\Controls\Standard.xml".  Is that file maybe read only on your installation?

Does DTG recommend running FSW as an administrator? In P3D I've noticed that not doing so often causes things not to save properly.
