Uninstall a PMDG product from a specific simulator

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have installed the PMDG 747 V3 on both P3DV3 and V4. I was originally going to use both simulators with the 747 due to the lack of scenery, however now I have no need to use v3 with the 747.

To save disk space, I want to uninstall the 747 from only V3 without touching anything in V4. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks.

Mark,

The RECOMMENDED method is to uninstall both.  Then, run the installer and select only the Prepar3D v4 installation.

There is no way to uninstall one or the other individually.

This is what i also did with the Queen and I did not clean up my liveries and the ini files in the backup folder. When i reinstalled the Queen only for V4  the OPC did not ask me to repair my previous files but instead saying i had empty folders for the liveries.

When i then  manually deleted these empty folders afterwards and started OPC i downloaded the liveries again and it Asked me if i would use the. Ini file saved or create a New default one. I said i would use the backup. Ini and it then created a New one based on this with a "1" to it.
