Kevin, do we still have to disabled Detailed Precipitation in the option menu of P3Dv4?

Yes, as always. It will remain that way

Precipit refuses to work for me in V4. So far a waste of time and money, I've done the above such as disabling Detailed Precipitation etc absolutely no joy

What leads you to believe PrecipitFX is not working properly? I need details

Hi Kevin,

Well I guess it's the fact that I was expecting windscreen effects similar to what is depicted in the promo video because that alone was what attracted me to purchase the software. So my question to you is this; is that depiction of rain on the windscreen simply a computer graphic to promote the product or is it in fact an effect I should be experiencing. Other than that I really wouldn't know whether the software is working or not?

The promo video for PrecipitFX doesn’t contain any VC shots, What video are you referring to??

To be clear, none of our products include VC rain effects and I am not aware of any video promoting it.
