Playin' around with Max World Objects

Featured Replies

I normally run with HIGH, but just Max'ed it to see how much more towns and cities show up...and their scope. Well...If you can run it...much more immersive, and accurate.

I'm now going to play around with between 2x and 4x for best FPS management, but I think MAX is here to stay...

Turn on MAX over LA and cry.  :P   I can run on Max in open farmland too!   Not so much in New York, Seattle or LA.

I was running with over Downtown Detroit.  Was only a few FPS lower.  But...as far as the eye can see...the dreaded Detroit 'burbs....:)

Brian, no matter what the FPS is...and I think I am just going to shut the display off...for I have gone to 15 FPS, sometimes, when the scene is mad...and still have no chunk or stutter.  That's all that matters to me, in the FPS department. What drives me, and always has...are the visuals. So...Max is here to stay no matter where I fly now.  On the average though...I have dropped only 3 FPS, vs. HIGH as the setting. That is more than acceptable, at least at this end. I don't fly study-level commercial cockpits in XP11, only FS9, so that doesn't affect me as much as I imagine your use-preferences would you.

Cheers,

Mitch

You gotta get the new Eclipse!  It's really nice.  A bit fps hungry though!

Nice pics!
