How to download the updates?

Featured Replies

How do you download the updates and how can you tell which update you are currently using?

Thanks,   Howard

If you have Steam set up to automatically update stuff (which is the default setting), that should be all you need, when you crank up FSW, it would update automatically. If it is updated, you can read the version number on the FSW splash screen when it starts up or at the bottom of the main GUI when the program is running. Another clue as to it having updated will be that on start up, if it has updated, you will likely see a load progress bar pop up which would be updating the shader cache or the database or some such.

The current updated version number of FSW is: FSW v1.0.17229.0

Just open steam. If you have an internet connection, it will update all your installed games (including FSW).

I´m running the last version. If you have an internet connection, you won´t start FSW before steam updates it. Steam only lets you run the last version of any game (If you are offline, that won´t be the case).
