July 6, 20178 yr I was always one to love the new SimLink but if it is the thing causing my stutters, it's getting removed. I'll do that and fly a long haul tonight and let you all know what happens. Grant Meder
July 6, 20178 yr Disabling the Simlink.dll from running completely solved my stutter problem, as it has for quite a few others. However, there's no need to uninstall Desktop Charts and the Navigraph Simlink applications, although, if you want to, that's fine. Instead, you can simply disable the Simlink.dll from loading by editing the Add-ons.cfg file in the \\AppData/Roaming/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v4 folder. Just change the "ACTIVE=" switch from "true" to "false", save the file, then you are good to go. Stutter-free performance. July 6, 20178 yr Grant - You never know what the ultimate fix might be... so if they release a simple .dll replacement (unlikely, but possible) then you avoid having to uninstall/reinstall ;) Doug Miannay PC: i9-13900K (OC 6.1) | ASUS Maximus Z790 Hero | ASUS Strix RTX4080 (OC) | ASUS ROG Strix LC II 360 AIO | 32GB G.Skill DDR5 TridentZ RGB 6400Hz | Samsung 990 Pro 1TB M.2 (OS/Apps) | Samsung 990 Pro 2TB M.2 (Sim) | Samsung 990 Pro 2TB M.2 (Games) | Fractal Design Define R7 Blackout Case | Win11 Pro x64
