July 8, 20178 yr Author Same position in Scenery, LFPG (Taxi2Gate) Gate A18,and same configuration P3Dv 3 >30 fps P3dv 4 > 24 fps same problem with two simu for Beacon. My configue µp I7 970 3.20Ghz, Mother bord Saphire Pure Black X58, Memory 12Go DDR3, Graphic cards INNO3D GTX 970 and MSI GTX 660 TI, 5 displays, The system (W7) and the two simulators are each on a separate SSD disk. July 8, 20178 yr This problem with the periodic flashing of the anti collision lights is as old as FSX or older. Vary your frame rate just by one or a few to find a setting that minimizes the loss of beacon if that is your goal. The effect of lost flashes is most pronounced below 21 fps but since we are talking periodic timing a problem at 20 is probably the same problem at any harmonic. I played with my 20 frame rate lock and found the least number of lost flashes at 25. I'll probably go back to 20 because I don't have much interest in anything outside the cockpit. Dan Downs KCRP
