July 7, 20178 yr I decided to move from Ezdok v1 to Chaseplane last night and I was able to configure all my planes and fly briefly to test them out. After seeing an update today I'm getting constant CTD after I load up the PMDG 737. I'm getting the following errors. July 8, 20178 yr Commercial Member Hi Dan, Have you tried switching view without ChasePlane running? From what I see, it seems to be P3D crashing ChasePlane, not the other way around. A quick search on this very forum will point you to various instances of P3D throwing sim1.dll crashes Regards, Keven Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
July 8, 20178 yr Author I did some testing with CP on and Off. The only time I get it to crash is when I add thunderstorms and then it locks up with the SIM1.dll error. It happens with the PMDG 737 every time. any other weather and it's fine. Dan i9-13900K / Asus Maximus Hero Z790 / RTX 4090 FE / G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64 GB DDR5-6400 CL32 / Artic Liquid Freezer II 360 / Samsung 980 PRO SSD 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 / Samsung 980 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 / Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 / EVGA 1000W G3, 80+ Gold / Phanteks Eclipse P600S ATX Mid Tower / Arctic P14 PWM Case Fans / LG C2 42 Inch Class 4K OLED TV/Monitor / Windows 11 Pro / 1Ghz AT&T Fiber
July 8, 20178 yr Author Looks like I may have found the problem. I up my voltage to 1.30 and the plane loads fine now in heavy thunderstorms. Looks like the weather put just enough of a load on my system to trigger a crash. I haven't flown in default thunderstorms in sometime and the crash didn't happen with the default aircraft. Between the PMDG load and the weather it was just enough. I'm running a 4790K @ 4.6Ghz. I'll keep you posted and thanks again for the help.
