July 8, 20178 yr Hi Guys, simple question, after offsetting a route how can you get to the original route? e.g.? if I offset R5 (the plane moves to the right 5 miles), how do you return back? Thanks! Sincerly, Felipe felipe turbay
July 8, 20178 yr Either delete the offset (select DELETE then place it over the offset at R6 and execute) or change the offset to 'L0' or 'R0' and execute. July 8, 20178 yr The delete isn't working as it should, been reported but I assume it's not fixed yet because they are still busy with hotter tasks. Change the offset to zero and it's gone. In a practical sense, I usually prefer to set a go to the next waypoint, this cancels the offset and provides a smooth transition to track if done within reason. Dan Downs KCRP
July 9, 20178 yr We had a thread about this just a few short weeks ago. I seem to recall L0 or R0 did not work, either. It was only selecting the next waypoint that removed the offset... beyond said next waypoint, i.e. the aircraft won't fly back to the original track before reaching the next waypoint. If you want it to do that, use heading mode to intercept the original heading, and once you do, give it direct-to next waypoint, and change to LNAV. Marko Milivojević
