GTN650 LPV Approaches?

Featured Replies

Does the DC-6 have this capability when coupled with the GTN650?   The LNAV works fine but the GS seems NA--Thanks--

No, only ILS using the provided autopilot. The gps is used only for lateral navigation

The DC-6B has flown the RNAV approach for 1L(now 2L) at PAEN just fine using the GTN 650 as the source. Granted, I was hand flying the approach and have not tried a coupled RNAV approach with it yet but the vertical guidance was present and accurate.

Could you please specify the AP settings you had with the GTN650--vertical guidance is NA.  For example, I activate the LPV approach, set the AP to Approach and have no vertical guidance.  Thanks--
