Ground Environment 2006 WOW!!!!!!

Hi there,Koorbygen will be made avaialble as a seperate download from our web site at this time but may become available in the wrapper at the later date.Any scenery add-on including roads well affect the display of autogen. A house or building will not be put on a road. The more roads the less houses. You need to make that choice but both programs work well togehter.

I took the plunge, and there is some amazing stuff in this package, however it will take a while to get used to the coloration where I live. I live in northern california and either I've just become use to FScene's colors or GE2006 is just a bit off color. Too early to tell and I know I am inclined to make opinions earlier than I should, this one notwithstanding. The buildings that make up the area where I live, Paradise, CA, seem a bit too repetative, and look rather unnatural with flat looking rooftops. They do stand out alot more, so perhaps that is what I am seeing. The alignment with roads and so forth is quite nice and very realistic looking. I took a quick flight thru the wine country and was amazed at how it all looked. I DO look forward to flying outa the country and enjoying some nicer textures. Thanks for a nice product at a reasonable price :()Noel

Thanks Noel,There will be a download on our page soon that will give an option to install some Koorbygen autogen textures which will make hte buiidind tops look better. All that said the building tops you are seeing at the moment should be the same as you were seeing before GE was installed.I think though you'll like the addition of using Koorbygen. Thanks for buying the product Noel

Dear Peter,I'm having a problem with the texture rendering within GE which is best illustrated by the following screenshots:http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b272/ion...%20EIDL/GE2.jpghttp://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b272/ion...%20EIDL/GE1.jpghttp://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b272/ion...%20EIDL/GE3.jpgTextures render slowly, jerky and within a very short sight distance.I took the advice of a forum member and changed my FS9 cfg to read as follows:TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=9.000000TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=9.000000TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=1Alas this has made very little difference. You will notice from the screenshots that the problem is somewhat disguised when flying over greener, more dense terrain but it is still visible. Can you help me with this problem? My system specs are Windows XP Pro SP2/FS9/AMD Athlon 64- 3500+/1 GB Ram/Radeon X800 Pro.-I use FS AutoStart-I have FSScene installed-All sliders maxed-FS Global and European Terrain Mesheswarmest regardsKevin
