August 14, 20178 yr P2A 2.2.2.1. Trying to set up the following (London Stanstead to Dublin) using FP Import: EGSS UTAV1R UTAVA TNT Q4 WAL L10 PENIL L70 BAGSO BAGS1K EIDW Flighplan is fine until WAL, then goes crazy. Also tried the following. New plan. Enter EGSS as departure wpt, then WAL, then Airway L10 to Wpt PENIL. Click Load. Again, plan goes cazy. Matt
August 14, 20178 yr Commercial Member Hi Matt Firstly remove the SID and STAR, they are only relevant at the time of the FP generation and are weather dependent Then remove the airways and import this: EGSS UTAVA TNT WAL PENIL BAGSO EIDW What program and AIRAC cycle did you use to generate the FP? What AIRAC cycle have you in P2A? Different cycles can give you the error that you get, which I also got when using your FP, which suggests that the FP might not have been generated in 1708 I had an issue with a FP generated by PFPX and imported in Navigraph Cloud Charts, it failed validation, even when both programs are using the same cycle data. Flight planning can sometimes be like a 'black art', very strange Anyway, hope this helps. Thanks Import this FP: edfh DCT RUDUS Z10 GISEM N850 WRB eddv Yep, that one works, see can be strange sometimes Clive Joy
August 14, 20178 yr Author I use the current AIRAC across all sims/addons etc. Simbrief is also current. Removing SID/STAR doesn't apply to the other method I wrote. Why should I remove airways? The option to use them is in the software, but for my route above (the one I create from scratch), they are broken. Try this. New plan. EGCC as 1st waypoint. Then add WAL. Then load airway L10 to wpt PENIL. Click load. And what you get is nonsense. There's clearly a bug. It needs fixing. Matt
August 14, 20178 yr Commercial Member Yep, same 'mess' if you use UL10. Dave will have a look Thanks Clive Joy
August 14, 20178 yr Commercial Member Thanks for the report. I believe I've found the problem and it will be fixed in the next update. Found and fixed a few other issues with Airways while I was at it. Dave
