September 9, 20178 yr Fs2crew config manager map doesn't load. Just get a script error. Any help with this please?
September 9, 20178 yr Commercial Member Try turning off your anti-virus and re-install FS2Crew. Make sure your anti-virus is excluding the FS folder. You may just have a sick computer. We see this once in a blue moon, and sometimes people just have a corrupt system, and the only solution is to do a clean install of Windows. B. September 10, 20178 yr Author Thanks for the quick response. I'll try your suggestions. Fs2crew is a super piece of software and I want to get the most out of it. Thanks again.
September 10, 20178 yr Commercial Member I'm getting the script error too with the on-line map. Let me check this out. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
September 12, 20178 yr Author It wouldn't have anything to do with windows 10 would it? I tried your suggestions but no joy. Thanks again and please let me know if you get a fix for this problem.
September 13, 20178 yr Commercial Member In the Config Manager, the map loads for me. But google just changed their browser requirements for the map. So you'll get a warning message about a browser being out of date. Is that what you get? Because that's what I'm getting. We'll update the Config Manager in SP1. B. September 13, 20178 yr Author I get a message that is saying your browser doesn't support google maps java script api. Then the script error message. When I first installed reboot the map worked after dismissing the script error message. But now it doesn't work. Edited September 13, 20178 yr by chappaz1977 After thoughts.
September 13, 20178 yr Commercial Member Google recently changed some stuff. To watch your self on the on-line map, you'll need an updated Config Manager. We'll release an updated Config Manager in the next SP. Here's a direct link if you want to see the Map in your browser: http://fs2.fs2crew.com:8080/SimpleTracker/map.do Cheers, B. September 13, 20178 yr Author Hello Brian tried the map today and it worked so I dont know whats happening. I did still get the same message but without the script error. I will keep a look out for the update. Thanks.
September 15, 20178 yr Commercial Member We just updated the map on the server side. You should no longer see that error message so long as you're using IE10 or above on your machine. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
September 15, 20178 yr Author I don't get any error messages anymore like you say but seems the map doesn't change my position when flying.I've disabled my firewall so it should be allowing my location. All I get is my location at the airport at the start and thats it, no movement.
September 17, 20178 yr Commercial Member You need to manually refresh it. Press F5 to refresh the map. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
