I don't know what happened, but the number of reviews here at AVSIM have increased dramatically during the last 2-3 months. Thanks for that, much appreciated!

I was just about to post this thread - I'm impressed as well with the increase in reviews. Reviews were the item I answered on the survey about what we'd like to see more of at AVSIM. Good job guys!

Didn't they "hire" a crop of new reviewers recently? If so, we might be benefitting from their combined output. It's always interesting to read reviews, so I say more, more!

Yes the reviews have increased in number and variety. The one on FSGS is a bit different from the norm, although I after reading it I was none the wiser about what particular variety of black magic FSGS use to do whatever it is they do. The improved FPS quoted didn't seem much different from what I get now, perhaps some before and after stats would have given us a better idea of what to expect. Anyhow while I appreciate the efforts of all reviewers if you really want to know what FSGS does see the third last post in the "Just try it" thread about a year ago. Michael Greenblatt, possibly exasperated at the posts from skeptics, pretty much explains what he does. It was after reading that post I decided FSGS was definitely not for me - I just don't have a sufficiently obsessive personality to go through the tortuous path to FS9 Nirvana that FSGS offers.Bruceb

Yes, that was an interesting review. Short on technical info, but then that's what they're selling so they can't make it public. :-)I'm thinking of giving it a shot too. I don't want to upgrade hardware before FS10 so this might just be the trick. EDIT: and back to the thread's point--great reviews in general and more of them. Nice....billg
