Weird Problem With Aerosoft's Casablanca Scenery

Featured Replies

Downloaded Aerosoft's new Casablanca scenery; started a flight out of GMMN; was handed over to "Casablanca Center;" upon contacting Casablanca Center, I get "automated weather information" which I can't turn off, because it overlaps the center station. Anyone know what's going on?ricardo

I've found Aerosoft's customer support on their forum to be outstanding! Here's the link: http://forum.aerosoft-shop.com/index.phpCheersPD

There is also a fix available in the AVSIM library, but can't remember what the file was called. I'm surprised Aerosoft didn't fix this in their testing.

It's got something to do with the default scenery. I don't have the scenery, but I have crossed the area on my way down to the Canaries and had the same problem.

Yes, I realise it's not Aerosoft's scenery that's causing it but given that their scenery is in the offending area I thought that the deigner might include a fix. Anyway, the file on AVSIM which claims to fix it is 'af2_maroc.zip'. Haven't tried it myself so don't know if it works.

The AVSIM file, if you can find the right one, fixes it. It's an FS9 fault, it occurs without the Aerosoft scenery as well. Something to do with renumbering the frequencies of the centers in that area. Maybe search under Morocco and ATIS.Lee
