737NGX crashing Steam version of flight sim

Featured Replies

Hi there,

So I recently updated the 737NGX through the Operations Center and just recently I noticed that some DLL's are causing FSX Steam Edition to crash.

First Crash:

- Happened when I loaded the 737-700 with wiglets and Alaska Airlines livery and was setting it up for a flight out of Portland.

- Crash info: BEX, PMDG737NGX.dll as the cause.

Second Crash:

- After a Flight when I exit flight sim it will crash and say: "Appcrash, PMDG737NGX_2.dll as the cause.

Anybody else have this?

Yep, I have the same issue, did a topic about that but haven´t got any answer yet. I updated my sim today, to a latest version of P3Dv3 but that did not solve that problem. No I´m thinking about uninstall and reinstall the bird.

Hi guys,

I think this is a known issue by PMDG, and it is at the lower end of priorities to fix as it doesn’t really effect the sim except on shutdown. (Also crashes my FSX SE)

I can’t find where I read this otherwise I would post the link, but I’m sure someone from PMDG will chime in

what I did was roll back the installer to the earlier version, the drawback off course is you don’t have the updated versions of ops Center or the NGX....but it won’t crash

Cheers
