One thing I hate with both packages is how bright the actual night road texture is. Like ribbons of lava. A bloody full revamp of the night lighting is needed by LM or a developer who can figure out a way to turn down the road way night textures. Even PTA can't eliminate it with it's Urban Night Lighting settings.

In in the Orbx settings GUI, I set every light to minimal and save. It helps, but urban areas are a bit bright.

Going back to the 320 optimisation, they could pre load all the sounds like PMDG  do on the QOTS 2? We have no VAS limits in V4, so if sounds and textures can be pre loaded into memory, it may save CPU cycles? I know FSDT were going down that route for future V4 airports. Load in the textures in advance to save frames?

Just my twopenneth.

You must be using Orbx but lights which are rubbish. Went to Black Marble, 10 times better.

I am and they aren't the best. Unfortunately I couldn't get the Black Marble installers to like my set up so despite their best help I had to get a refund.
