Taxi2Gate KSEA

Featured Replies

I have Orbx PNW and Pilot's 2018 FS Global NG and having elevation issues with Taxi2Gate KSEA. I've tried both the Vector and Pilots elevation tools to fix it, but no success. Also, Taxi2Gates website is down, cannot download some patch that claims to have fixed mainly lighting issues. Any suggestions?

I'd look for another "rogue" 3rd party version of KSEA, like for example one installed by My Traffic 6. Having multiple 3rd party versions of a specific airport almost always creates problems.

Also, look for an ALT BGL file with KSEA in the name, located in the folder:

.../scenery/world/scenery

Website works without a problem (now...). Link to the KSEA update: http://www.taxi2gate.org/downloads/p3dv4/ksea/ksea-patch1.1.rar

As for the compatibility issues you have, search the OrbX PNW directory for KSEA files and rename these *.bgl files to *.off. Ensure KSEA is above OrbX in your scenery library.

Thanks, but the link is still not working, I've sent messages to Taxi2gate via their FB page, but still haven't received a reply!

Strange that the link is not working for you. For me both the above link and the site work perfectly normal.

Could it be that that something is not working your end ? Even when Taxi2gate replies they may not be able to get the patch to you..

Any chance to download the patch on another computer ?

I'm not sure but will try from a different internet connection maybe? Anyways I've realized that KSEA comes with an extra terrain layer, should I have it placed on top above my FTX or below with my Pilot's mesh? Is it mesh or scenery?

I do not have Pilot's mesh but I would guess KSEA  needs to above. That is to say a lower priority number in your scenery cfg. I have at the bottom  the default sceneries. The ORBX regions follow. After that the ORBX airports. And after that all the other sceneries.

My Taxi2gate KSEA consists of 2 entries. The KSEA terrain is below the other KSEA entry  in the list.
