January 11, 20188 yr Hello support I am a beginner of using chase plane Software. I created a few OnBoard and Outside cam positions. To change from inside to outside I select button on the Saitek Cessna yoke and it works well. For the changes of the cam positions I want to use the TAB and the CAPSLOCK key. They are not working. I also tryed to use Numpad keys and they also not working. Chaseplane confirmed to me that they are not used for other functions. I haven't used keys which are used by the addons and the Simulator (P3DV4.1) Thanks for help Roger
January 11, 20188 yr Hello Roger, As for the TAB and CAPSLOCK keys, these are keys usually used for very specific tasks in Windows, so i would suggest using other keys (at least, this is what i should do). But i tried them, and it should work. The TAB-key works with my system. But the CAPSLOCK-key only works once, then the caps are locked and have to be unlocked for the key to function again (well, that is my experience). For the numpad-keys, they should work without problems, i use them always. => Make sure flightsim has the focus. If the focus is not on flightsim, the keyboard will not react, whereas a joystick always react. Regards, William Vrielynck
January 12, 20188 yr Author Hello Headley Thanks for fast and good response. I changed to the numpad key 5 for thechange inside to outside it work well than I selected numpad 2 for preset changes but still I can not change the windows inside or outside which I have created with presets. Your last sentence is not really known to me. Can you explain what is focus on flightsim. (numpad 5 works for the In- Outside change) regards Roger
January 12, 20188 yr Roger, With "focus" i mean that flightsim must be the active window or program. When you have 2 (or more) program opened in Windows, one have the focus, the others not. for example Word and Excell, clicking on the program Word and you can work in Word, nothing will happen in Excell and vice-versa. There is also an option that let flightsim "pause on taskswitch". So if you enable this option and you select another program, your flightsim will pause (i recommend setting this option off unless you have a good reason for it). But this has of course nothing to do with your problem. So far no idea why your numpads will not work for you Regards, William Vrielynck
January 12, 20188 yr Author Hello Headley I familiar with "pause on taskswitch" , this option is during sim almost off which is the normal case. I still have not found a solution for the use of num pad key for the changes of the different views. I have to make further investigation. At the moment the view changes can only made using the mouse and select the view on the preferences page. Have a nice weekend Roger

January 13, 20188 yr Author Hello Soren Thanks a lot for the instruction video. It just confirmed me that I used the right way to select the keys. There was nothing different to my key selection. I found the real problem for non working keys. Solution: after I made the presets and the cam position and finally the key selection I must re-start the chaseplane software. Probably this is always necessary. I hope that I can receive an answer from the software designer. regards Roger

January 13, 20188 yr Commercial Member Hi all, We have found an issue where the Control assignments would not register properly after assigning them, requiring a restart of ChasePlane for the to work properly. We will be pushing an update later today fixing the issue. Thanks for pointing us in the right direction! Regards, Keven Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
