January 15, 20188 yr I have entered an incorrect approach for a landing at RJTT. But after having selected the wrong approach in the FMS DEP/APP screen, I can't select another approach. I also cannot delete any approach waypoints. So I guess my question is; what is the proper way to delete an existing approach, and replace it with another selection from the FMS DEP/APP pages? January 15, 20188 yr The proper way is to select another approach / STAR an check that the previous appr is overwritten. If not, do so. What exactly are you doing? What simulator do you use? What is the version of your 737? You can find the version in the control center. ,
January 15, 20188 yr You just need to select a different approach by selecting the DEP/ARR key on the FMS, choosing a different approach, checking the LEGS page to make sure that the new approach has been added (and that it makes sense), and then pressing the EXEC key to confirm. I assume that you are doing that last part? To be on the same page, are talking about selecting another approach (ILS, RNAV...) or STAR? The normal way to proceed is to the select first the runway with the approach type, then the STAR. If you entered the wrong STAR, you have to reselect the runway with the approach type first. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
