May 10, 200620 yr I really like Milton Shupe's Beechacraft D18S and fly it solely from the VC.I don't need the 2D panels at all - and I am just wondering if deleting them will take any kind of load off my machine. ??If so, what should I delete in the panel.cfg file? Thanks Barry
May 10, 200620 yr Hi,Normally, it is the VC which is the framerate hog,...simply because it is integrated in the aircraft model, and thus always activated. ;-)A good example is that if you have a gauge which causes memory drain, it doesn Staffan
May 10, 200620 yr I disabled all 2D gauges on some of my planes in hope to gain more FPS in VC. Examples include Aeroworx B200 & PMDG 737. On some planes you just can't do that since it'll disable VC gauges at the same time (LVD 767, for example). However, I don't think by doing this I've gained significant FPS in any plane. Just an experiment for me.Jason JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI
