January 23, 20188 yr I am thinking of removing NI from my system. Is it as simple as going to "remove programs" and deleting it and then my system will go back to the settings before I had it? I am just having the hardest time with it trying to figure out what changes work and what don't. Changing one setting makes something look great, but makes other areas worse. I think I want to go back to when I wasn't using it to start from scratch. January 23, 20188 yr Moderator Run NI - select Prepar3d - reset profile to default. You can also select the global profile and reset to default. Then uninstall NI - if it's IN the program files list uninstall it from there, if not, just delete the relevant folders. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
January 24, 20188 yr Author Ok. With that being said,if I just reset to defaults, would I need to uninstall? January 24, 20188 yr After resetting to default there is no need to also uninstall NI. You can keep it for future use if you want or just go ahead and uninstall it if you think you'll never use it again..........Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage.
