January 25, 20188 yr Could you help me with TrackIR Center View command please? I'd like to move the "centered" POV of TrackIR some inches to the left in VC to match my EZDOK2 settings. Which file in Prepar3D should I modify? I use EZDOK2 and adjust my "centered" POV there to my liking. Now I've added TrackIR but unfortunately pressing "Center" button moves my POV view somewhat to the right. I haven't used TrackIR since FSX, so I forgot how I did that in FSX. I need TIR's centered POV to match my EZDOK2 centered POV. Thanks!

The default assignment is "F12", though you can change the key assignment if you wish along with the toggle off/on and precision mode toggle commands. It's rare, but if I need to relocate the POV I simply move my head/body over a bit and then re-center using the F12 key, move myself back into position, and you're done. To my knowledge, there is no key command for changing the TrackIR POV in sim. Getting all setup, centered, and then moving the camera as Jeff said above works as well, but if one has to recenter then you'd have to move the camera back and then out again (nothing wrong with that) whereas I only have to move myself a few inches again. Potayto/Potah-to". I don't really need it, but I can certainly see where it would be nice for some folks to have more permanent way to adjust the TrackIR POV. Maybe send a request Natural Point's way? It's a great idea! Best wishes. January 25, 20188 yr Isn't there a center in EZdok to return you to the center point of the view you set up? Maybe try that instead of the TIR center command as they are different points. I believe TIR uses what camera definitons that are in the aircraft.cfg. Seems like there was a program you had to run for Ezdok that fixed the aircraft.cfg so it would use the ezdok values...you had to run it every time you installed new aircraft so that it would add the proper entries or you get weirdness like this. This sounds familiar, but I cant remember. Thanks.
January 25, 20188 yr Author That was an easy one, guys: 1) Rename simconnect.manifest and simconnectSP2.manifest in TrackIR5 manually or just run EZCA2 Config Tool and it will rename them for you. 2) Enable TrackIR in EZCA2 in a specific view that you created, and it will match POV you created in EZCA2 So no need to move your butt or TrackIR sideways. Thanks. Edited January 25, 20188 yr by Dirk98
