January 27, 20188 yr Hey, so I was reinstalling Prepar3d because of some issues. Then when i log in again, I install all the addons which was installed before. Then when I choose the PMDG 737 NGX 800/900 it says "unable to create work files, run Prepar3d as administrator" An Ive tried to install the aircraft up again but still the same problem. I also tried to update the AIRAC data on Navigraph. It says that the aircraft has the newest AIRAC, but when I check the FMC, it says AIRAC cycle 1108. Oskar Aasbrein Nesbakk ENGM

February 2, 20188 yr Hi I have the same problem "unable to create work files, run Prepar3d as administrator" on P3DV4 after installing the PMDG 737 NGX "successfully". Starting P3D with a right klick on "start as administrator" causes a program crash. Mark Gilg
February 2, 20188 yr Well - it's not a crash, but the program doesn't start and shows this error message: Invalid location Cannot save the archive 'prepar3D.zip' to the folder ... please chose a different folder. Mark Gilg

Mark Gilg This is a P3D issue, then. Sounds like you have some permissions/shortcut issues on your computer. Try manually browsing to your P3D location. Find the P3D.exe, right click that, and select Run As Administrator. Does it work? Kyle Rodgers
February 14, 20188 yr Author The problem with AIRAC data got fixed by going to navigraph. Fixed it by doing this: Navigraph - Addon Mappings - Scan I found out that the PMDG folder was found in the folder. Oskar Aasbrein Nesbakk ENGM
February 14, 20188 yr I‘ve read that many people coming from P3Dv3 upgrading to v4 manually edited their path in the navigraph manager. Although they better should delete the mapping and scan it again for PMDG. Then it shows P4D instead you f P3D and everything workes/ed for them. ,
