Drzewiecki Design NYC X

Recommended Posts

When Drzewiecki Design NYC X first came along, I purchased it for FSX but I always ended up in CTD. I am planning to move to P3D v4, and I am wondering if that software works in V4, and if there are any issues I should know about before I invest in it for a second time.

Appreciate your experience and thoughts.

I have a good machine, installed and love it. It runs a few frames slower then normal scenery, but I have everything maxed. Your milage may vary. Teterboro is especially nice.

They have a demo.  I thought the product could be installed in P3D or FSX.  That's what the product states when you buy it.  I think it was recently upgraded to V2 for P3Dv4 and they have an upgrade price of around $10.

Thank you all for your input, I will strongly consider purchasing, since I fly into KJFK and KLGA frequently. NYC has always been bare with only 20 buildings!

Their KLGA is woefully out of date and I thought FSDT KJFK even if out of date looks much better.  I do have this product but only have KTEB and KEWR enabled.  I'm using Imaginesim KLGA, which has the final planned configuration for terminals and parking so they are actually ahead of today's layout.

Dan, Ive read reviews of their Airport add ons, which reflect your comments exactly. Do you have any experience with the P3D.4 version of the NYC skyline product?

Thank you

Sure do not Bob, I have not invested in any city scapes other than what Orbx regions may provide.  To me, the entire city is the landmark rather than the things within the city based on my actual time in the cockpit.
