February 3, 20188 yr The biggest reason to purchase a registered FUSIPC in FSX was the ground friction LUA plug in.(IMO.) Since I am finding it pretty sticky in P3DV4 as well I was wondering if anyone has a registered version for P3D. If so does it still have that plug in? Vic green
February 4, 20188 yr Author To answer my own question no. Pete said he is dependent on LM releasing ground friction tables rather than having to hack through them. Sure was a nice fix in FSX though. Vic green

February 5, 20188 yr The problem with ground friction in FSX and P3d is that the lookup table (friction coefficient vs surface type and wetness) is embedded as text in sim1.dll. Every time that P3d is updated, the absolute address of the table's location in the dll moves, meaning that FSUIPC has to be updated also. Pete has been asking LM for SDK access to the lookup table for years, so I wouldn't expect a quick fix. But you never know.
