I installed the scenery too and see absolutely no problems.  UTLive was working and a GA aircraft was taxiing for takeoff.  The scenery actually looks very good.

Just to check, you did install FaroeIslandsv5 right?  There is also scenery done for FS9 but v5 is for FSX users.  According to the read me:

  • Mesh resolution 5 meter.
  • Texture resolution 60 centimeters
  • Mesh complexcity 99.
  • Scenery complexity very dense if you want all objects to show up.
  • Autogen density very dense. <---------I wasn't kidding when I said max it out

Try your Autogen slider maxed out!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Hi Charlie,

I didn't see any difference with it turned off and maxed, at least not at the airport.  Think the developers did a good job with this scenery.  The runway is long but maybe needed as landing was harrowing in the F16 as you can't get too low with the small mountain in front of it.

Hi Jim,  OK,  but I still think it won't hurt to try.  If it doesn't accomplish anything then maybe a graphics driver or card problem if adjusting any of the other sliders to recommended specs doesn't help?

Hope the OP isn't running an overheated Laptop or a dusty dirty computer that's sitting on the floor sucking up the yuk!

Well, I did max the autogen and could see no difference.  FPS wise, I was in the 50's and 60's.  I hope he got it figured out!  I have a feeling he installed the FS9 version as that would have affected the elevations for sure!

Best regards,

Jim
