February 11, 20188 yr I'm using AFX to alter, add and change parking places at certain airports. For gates there always appear the pushback tractors even when I select 'none' on the pushback type selection. How can I get rid of them. I have gates positioned to pull straight out instead of backing out but I have to run over the pushback equipment. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
February 11, 20188 yr You can just change the type of spot from Gate_Small or Medium or Heavy to Ramp GA, just be sure to then set the radius to something that your aircraft will be able to use. You can still label the spot as a Gate of course, it will just remove the service vehicles that are placed when using Gates as a type of spot. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
February 12, 20188 yr Yes, use "Ramp" parking instead of "Gate" parking, the tugs are hard coded into FSX and appear in "Gate" and "Cargo" type parking spots. In order to prevent GA aircraft from parking in a "Ramp", assign that spot to an airline. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
February 12, 20188 yr Author Thanks guys. I'll change them and remember to do that in the future. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
