Parking places...

Featured Replies

I'm using AFX to alter, add and change parking places at certain airports.  For gates there always appear the pushback tractors even when I select 'none' on the pushback type selection.  How can I get rid of them.  I have gates positioned to pull straight out instead of backing out but I have to run over the pushback equipment.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

You can just change the type of spot from Gate_Small or Medium or Heavy to Ramp GA, just be sure to then set the radius to something that your aircraft will be able to use. You can still label the spot as a Gate of course, it will just remove the service vehicles that are placed when using Gates as a type of spot.

Yes, use "Ramp" parking instead of "Gate" parking, the tugs are hard coded into FSX and appear in "Gate" and "Cargo" type parking spots.  In order to prevent GA aircraft from parking in a "Ramp", assign that spot to an airline.

Thanks guys.  I'll change them and remember to do that in the future.
