NGX Rocking/Wobbling at Cruise v4.2

Featured Replies

Howdy my PMDG friends,

I've been doing some text flights in the ngx and v 4.2, and I've noticed that the ac wobbles/rocks at cruising altitude if I have time acceleration set beyond 2x.  It's a consistent issue (I thought it was turbulence at first), and it's something that I didn't experience in earlier versions of P3D.  I don't know if this the result of something LM did in the update, something in Chaseplane or a PMDG thingie, but I thought I'd pass it along nonetheless.  While I haven't had any problems with controlability, I get a little sea sick as I speed my way through longer flights.

Just FYI,

This is a result of your computer not being able to keep up with the complex math being run, and the AP/sim suffering as a result. Using accel essentially just reduces the amount of time your comp can run that math.

It didn't occur in other versions of P3D perhaps because settings were different.

Quick additional note: please be sure to place posts in the proper sub forum. This, being NGX-related, should be in the NGX sub (I have moved it from the Gen forum, for anyone who stumbles by after posting this).

I've done eight hours in the NGX and 4.2 without any problems.  I don't do acceleration.
