February 16, 20188 yr Hello. Due to v4.2 update ordeal I am trying repair the sim to see if it will come to a life. Based on tutorial I will have to run Repair option and wait till it complete. During repairing System32 screen pops up. I am kind of confused what is it and what am I supposed to do next? This screen should not appear based on Repair tutorial. February 16, 20188 yr Author Yes, I see what you are talking about but if I access Help in P3D menu it says v4.2.21.24048, not 4.1 Thanks I9-13900K | ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming LGA 1700 | MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 24GB | CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid Cooler | CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 64GB (2X36) 5200MHx DDR5 | Thermaltake GF3 1650W 80+ Gold PSU | Samsung QN90C Neo QLED TV 50”
February 16, 20188 yr Moderator How are you starting the repair? You can do it from Control Panel or just run the 4.2 Client ( or full) installer. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
February 17, 20188 yr Author I follow the tutorial: Control Panel - Professional- Uninstall - Change- Repair. I did the update using just Client but the sim is acting strange. Menus disappears, when I change view there is 2-3 seconds delay and a then eventually P3D crashes. I have only ORBX Global installed. I think I will uninstall P3D completely again and start from the beginning.
